FAQ

Common questions

Which SIM cards work in Thinkwill 4G cameras?

Any 4G LTE SIM from an Indian network. Use a SIM with an active data plan; voice is not needed.

How much mobile data does a 4G camera use?

It depends mostly on how long you watch live and on the video quality you choose. Recording to the microSD card uses no data at all.

Where are my recordings stored?

On the microSD card inside the camera (up to 128 GB), and in the cloud as well if you add a cloud plan.

Does a solar camera keep running at night?

Yes. The solar panel charges the battery during the day and the battery runs the camera through the night. For sites with long spells of bad weather, ask us about the right panel and battery size.

How far can the camera see at night?

Up to about 20 metres in infrared, and 20 to 25 metres in colour with the warm LEDs on models that have them.

Which app do I use?

The ThinkWill Cloud Connect app, free on Android and iPhone.

How do I know my device is genuine?

Use Verify a device on this site with the serial number or IMEI printed on the box or the camera label.
